/ Private Debt Day 2015
The significance of alternative funding to European investors and companies has grown considerably. Over the past five years, alternative funding has become a finance option that is now almost on par with traditional bank lending, say heads of finance at western European companies. This finding emerges from a study published by Allen & Overy, based on a survey conducted by YouGov* among finance executives of medium and large enterprises outside of the financial sector across Europe.
In addition, the study shows that alternative funding has become an established source of finance in Europe and that the trend to increasingly use alternative funding will continue over the next years. One source which is expected to play an increasingly important role is the European private placement market.
In our seminar, we would like to provide an overview of the alternative funding market in Germany. We will also discuss various finance structures and products, such as Schuldschein loans, private placements, unitranche and high-yield debt, including regulatory aspects.
This event is free of charge, will be held in English and is primarily aimed at:
- Institutional investors
- Debt funds
- Interested borrowers and company representatives from finance and legal
- Banking representatives concerned with relevant products
